Hi, I am Vanessa
I always had an interest in nutrition/wellness and a passion for helping and guiding others about living a healthy lifestyle.
Based on my personal experience, when you get acquainted with your own personal healthy living routine, it is easy to overcome cravings, reduce stress and lose weight. I have managed to lose 30 pounds naturally by focusing on what works best for me. It's not just about weight loss, but also about improving your relationship with food and feeling great mentally, physically and emotionally.
Namaste Bliss is my online blog where you can find easy and healthy recipes along with other healthy living tips. Here, I share my everyday journey of eating, creating and selecting quality foods & incorporating other essential lifestyle elements for overall well-being.
Born in India raised in California, I had a great exposure to many herbs and spices as well as best of taste of the east and west. I developed a passion for cooking in my early teens and started experimenting with various flavor profiles. In my mid-30's I realized that although I was not super overweight, I could still improve the way I ate and my overall health. That is when I became really interested in nutrition/ wellness and decided to gain certification in this field.
I joined the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I gained in-depth knowledge about many different dietary theories and the food mood connection. I started to create healthier and more nutrient-dense versions of all the foods I enjoy like pizza, desserts and even my famous chicken tikka masala. In addition to improving my food choices, I also made small lifestyle changes which enhanced my overall way of living.

I want to inspire as many people as I can to incorporate not just whole foods in their daily lives, but also take the approach to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
