SUMMER PASTA SALAD


This pasta salad is PERFECT for a light summertime meal or side. It is super refreshing full of zesty flavors & sure to create a party in your mouth. Let's get started with the recipe!

INGREDIENTS

2 cups of pre-boiled pasta cooled at room temperature.


In a large bowl, add the following ingredients.

4 tablespoons of mayonnaise



Half a teaspoon black pepper


Salt to taste


One and a half tablespoon of capers


One and a half teaspoon of Dijon mustard


2-3 table of lemon juice

Freshly chopped basil and chives (as much as you want).


Orange zest (more adds lots of flavor)


Now mix all of the ingredients added to the bowl, then add the pre-boiled pasta and mix it well until the pasta is completely coated the mixture in the bowl.




Cover the pasta bowl with a lid or plastic wrap & let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour before you enjoy.

This is a very important step as this is where the magic happens when it comes to all the flavors. It's kind of like marinating the pasta for getting that rich, zesty and flavorful taste.

When ready to savor, give it a good mix before you serve it so all the flavors are blended together. You will notice that the sauce will get thicker after you take it out of the fridge, which will make it rich but still on the lighter side.
