Homemade Healthy Twix Bars (Only 6 Ingredients!)

Ingredients:
Base (Shortbread Layer):
1 cup almond flour
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
Caramel Layer:
½ cup peanut butter (natural, creamy)
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil
Chocolate Layer:
½ cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
Pinch of sea salt (for topping)
Instructions:
Prepare the Base (Shortbread Layer):
In a bowl, mix almond flour, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil until a dough forms.
Press evenly into a parchment-lined loaf pan or small baking dish.
Freeze for 10–15 minutes until firm.
Make the Caramel Layer:
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil together, stirring until smooth and well combined.
Pour over the chilled shortbread base and spread evenly.
Return to the freezer for another 15–20 minutes, or until set.
Top with Chocolate:
Melt dark chocolate (using a microwave or double boiler).
Pour over the firm caramel layer and spread evenly.
Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
Chill again for 10–15 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
Slice & Serve:
Once fully set, remove from the pan and slice into bars or squares.
Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
